Nadiya and Marc / Kent Wedding Photography at The Old Kent Barn

Kent Wedding Galleries

I was really looking forward to Nadiya and Marc’s wedding at The Old Kent Barn, not least because we share the exact same taste in music. Now don’t get me wrong, there’s always room for a bit of Dancing Queen at a wedding but as a kid of the 80’s and 90’s it’s pretty awesome to hear a Blur song whilst I’m working!

As a wedding photographer I see a lot of emotion, it’s what I’m there to capture after all. Nadiya had seemed pretty calm as she was getting ready in the morning. She’s that kind of person, easygoing, fun to be around, Marc the same, it’s probably one of the reasons they fell in love. But there was a moment, just after she had put on her dress when the emotion of her wedding day just hit her, I saw it in her eyes. As she fought back the tears it was pretty amazing to see how Nadiya’s sister just calmly talked to her and helped her keep things together. There’s always a moment at each wedding you photograph that seems to stick in your mind, that was the moment.

A massive congratulations to Nadiya and Marc from me. The wedding season is starting to slow down but I still have some awesome weddings to share with you so please come back soon!

Maria and John / Preview
I was nervous before this wedding. Maria is my wife Claire's best friend, they have been best friends since they were 11 years old and I'm proud to call her my friend too. Friends can come and go but if you’re lucky you get to have a person like Maria in your life.  Recently Claire lost her brother Ian.  Suddenly and without warning he was gone. It was a huge shock to all of us and we still miss him desperately. All of Claire's friends were amazing but at the time Maria was thousands of miles away living and working in Singapore. When she heard what had happened she booked the first flight back home. She didn’t tell us she was going to do ...

Hannah and Chris / Wedding Photography at the Tudor Barn, London
So 2013 is up and running and here is my first wedding of the year. Hannah and Chris got married at The Tudor Barn in London on an absolutely freezing January day. I still have no idea how Hannah managed to look so amazing when she was so cold!  I'm fortunate in that I always seem to work with really relaxed and fun couples and Chris and Hannah were no different. I think you can see that in their photos, they really didn't stop smiling all day.   If you would like a bit more information on pricing and the wedding photography packages available then please take a look here. Sarah and Max / Kent Wedding Photography at Falconhurst Estate, Markbeech
Max and Sarah were married at Holy Trinity Church in the beautiful village of Mark Beech near Hever in Kent. After the service everybody took a short walk through a small wood to what has to be one of my favourite venues of the year, Falconhurst Estate. I love weddings like this, all the personal little touches just make them so special and Max and Sarah's wedding was no exception, from "Grandma's coconut macaroons" to "Hayley's tasty carrot cakes"  their was a real sense of family and friends coming together to share in what was a stunning wedding. Here is the story of Max and Sarah's wedding day.     If you would like a ...
