Michele and Lance / Wedding Photography at Salutation House in Sandwich

Kent Wedding Galleries

Michele and Lance got married on a stunning day at Salutation House in Sandwich. I think this may have just become my favourite wedding venue, a beautiful house surrounded by amazing gardens which was just perfect for their intimate wedding. Michele and Lance made me feel so welcome that I can honestly say I felt more like a guest with a camera than the photographer (well, a few cameras!). It’s always fantastic to shoot in such incredible places and the chance to work with such wonderful people as Michele and Lance, it’s the reason why I love this job so much.

Classy wedding, totally killer photos. I mean it. The image of the bride against the wall in the dappled light must be worth your fee alone.

The East Anglian Railway museum, great venue, awesome people, I absolutely loved photographing these guys wedding day, and then I get sent an e-mail like this. "Hi Paul We received our photos yesterday and can't begin to describe how much we love them. They were exactly what we wanted and capture the day perfectly.  As two shy people, were were nervous about having professional photos taken of us but you made the whole experience so easy. Before the wedding I thought that if we ended up with just one picture of the two of us where we didn't look awkward, it would be worth the money. Thanks to you we now have hundreds of wonderful pho ...

Beverley and Chris / Preview
I sometimes get asked about posing people, how I go about it, what poses do I like. The truth is, sometimes you just get lucky. I had asked Beverley and Chris to turn around and look out across the sea. I was pleased with the photo and was about to move on to the next shot, but at that moment Beverley just laid her head on Chris' shoulder. I didn't ask her to do it or pose them, it wasn't something I had planned, it was a real moment between two people, a husband and wife, and for me the photo just came alive. More from their beautiful wedding will be coming soon, you can also check out Whimsical Wonderlands Weddings who have produced a cool ...

2013 / A Year in the Life of a Kent Wedding Photographer
As 2014 begins it feels like a good time to take a look back on what was a great year for me and my family. Along with all the fantastic weddings I got to be a part of it was the year I became a dad for the second time, there's no better (or tougher) job than being a parent but being a wedding photographer comes a pretty close second. I'm thankful everyday that I get to do something I love ,and I hope, bring happiness to others as I do it. A huge thank you to all the awesome couples I got to work with in 2013, it was an absolute blast. I've got some spectacular weddings to come in 2014 and I really can't wait to get started. If you would ...
