Michele and Lance / Wedding Photography at Salutation House in Sandwich

Kent Wedding Galleries

Michele and Lance got married on a stunning day at Salutation House in Sandwich. I think this may have just become my favourite wedding venue, a beautiful house surrounded by amazing gardens which was just perfect for their intimate wedding. Michele and Lance made me feel so welcome that I can honestly say I felt more like a guest with a camera than the photographer (well, a few cameras!). It’s always fantastic to shoot in such incredible places and the chance to work with such wonderful people as Michele and Lance, it’s the reason why I love this job so much.

Classy wedding, totally killer photos. I mean it. The image of the bride against the wall in the dappled light must be worth your fee alone.

Maria and John / Preview
I was nervous before this wedding. Maria is my wife Claire's best friend, they have been best friends since they were 11 years old and I'm proud to call her my friend too. Friends can come and go but if you’re lucky you get to have a person like Maria in your life.  Recently Claire lost her brother Ian.  Suddenly and without warning he was gone. It was a huge shock to all of us and we still miss him desperately. All of Claire's friends were amazing but at the time Maria was thousands of miles away living and working in Singapore. When she heard what had happened she booked the first flight back home. She didn’t tell us she was going to do ...

Jade and Jamie / Kent Wedding Photography at Chilham Village Hall in Kent
Jade and Jamie's wedding at Chilham Village Hall in Kent was a real family affair. From Jamie's mum who sewed ten thousand metres of bunting (ok, that may be a slight exaggeration but it was definitely a lot!), his dad who hand painted the invites and table plan to Jade's dad and sister who played in the band in the evening, there was a real sense of family and friends coming together. I've also come to the realisation that pinata's should be compulsory at every wedding reception, in fact I'm not sure I want to shoot another wedding without a pinata from now on (note: not really, I will definitely shoot your wedding if you don't have a pinata ...

Kew Gardens Wedding Photography / Alex and Shaun
There are a few wedding venues that as a wedding photographer you dream of shooting at, Kew Garden's was definitely one of those for me so when Alex and Shaun contacted me last year about photographing their wedding I jumped at the opportunity. I was keeping everything crossed that the weather would be kind to us and we could make the most of Kew's stunning gardens but the weather gods had other ideas and a classically British summer day of grey cloud and rain greeted me when I opened the curtains in the morning. A bit of drizzle couldn't dampen the fun though and we had a great day and to be honest if the weather is going to keep you indoors ...
