Hannah and Chris / Wedding Photography at the Tudor Barn, London

Kent Wedding Galleries

So 2013 is up and running and here is my first wedding of the year. Hannah and Chris got married at The Tudor Barn in London on an absolutely freezing January day. I still have no idea how Hannah managed to look so amazing when she was so cold!  I’m fortunate in that I always seem to work with really relaxed and fun couples and Chris and Hannah were no different. I think you can see that in their photos, they really didn’t stop smiling all day.

Andy and Tony / Kent Wedding Photography at Northbrook Park
There are certain couples who's weddings I get to capture who just seem to generate such love and affection from the people around them. Andy and Tony are one of those couples. I first met these guys a few years ago now on Andy's brothers stag doo no less. It was a hazy, heady weekend shall we say so my memories are "patchy" but I do remember that feeling even then, that sense that these guys are just right for each other, just a great couple to be around. One of the things I love most about photographing a wedding day is being able witness those moments when people are just interacting, talking, hugging, crying. Andy's and Tony's wedding day ...

Annabelle and Charlie / Kent Wedding Photography at St Mary’s Church
I really hope that these photos can convey to you some degree of the true awesomeness that was the wedding of Annabelle and Charlie. It still makes me smile now when I think back to it and it was one of those days when as a wedding photographer you just have to pinch yourself and thank your lucky stars that you're a part of it. Their ceremony was held in a beautiful little church in Stansted, Kent. It was literally full to bursting with friends and family, some stood outside looking in through the church doors, I guess that's testament to the kind of people Annabelle and Charlie are. It was then back to Annabelle's parents house where the gar ...

My 2012
At the beginning of 2012 I wrote here about how I came to be photographing peoples wedding day. It was quite personal, I wanted it to be truthful and honest, I wanted the people who might ask me to be a part of their wedding to understand a little bit about what pushes me to do what I do. It seems like a lifetime ago now but still, when I read it back, it feels truthful to me.  As I was writing I was really only just starting along this path and I had absolutely no clue of what an amazing year it was going to be. When all is said and done it was the year I finally got the chance to do the thing I love to do. It would never have been possible ...
