Beverley and Chris / Preview

Kent Wedding Galleries Press

I sometimes get asked about posing people, how I go about it, what poses do I like. The truth is, sometimes you just get lucky. I had asked Beverley and Chris to turn around and look out across the sea. I was pleased with the photo and was about to move on to the next shot, but at that moment Beverley just laid her head on Chris’ shoulder. I didn’t ask her to do it or pose them, it wasn’t something I had planned, it was a real moment between two people, a husband and wife, and for me the photo just came alive. More from their beautiful wedding will be coming soon, you can also check out Whimsical Wonderlands Weddings who have produced a cool feature on the day.

Cliff and Kat / Kent Wedding Photography at The Chilston Park Hotel
Give me a field at sunset and I'm a happy wedding photographer. If photography is your thing then you'll already know that there really is nothing like that feeling of looking at a scene in amazing light and clicking that shutter. For those of you reading this who are perhaps looking to improve your photography, maybe even thinking about becoming a wedding photographer then the best piece of advice I ever heard was to look for good light and then put your subjects in it. Do that and your're on the right path. I photographed the wedding of the frankly awesome Kat and Cliff at The Chilston Park Hotel in Kent. The great thing about Chilston Park ...

Kyla and Tom / Kent Wedding Photography at Nettlestead Place
Kyla and Tom were my first wedding of the year and it was great to get back in to the swing of things with such a cool and laid back couple. I got to shoot an engagement session with these guys a couple of months back so I knew their wedding at Nettlestead Place would be just my kind of wedding, fun, colourful and full of love. The theme of the day was purple and orange, Kyla and Tom's favourite colours and Tom rocked an awesome pair of orange Converse trainers with his suit. Whilst the weather may have been a bit on the gloomy side their wedding was certainly not! The weddings are coming thick and fast for me now as the wedding season gets g ...

Woodhall Spa Manor Wedding Photography / Lauren and Tom
"We are utterly thrilled with our gorgeous pictures. You've captured the day perfectly and I can't believe how much I missed?! You've photographed things I don't even remember! We are so pleased, honestly. Thank you so very much." The gorgeous village of Woodhall Spa in Lincolnshire was the location for the wedding of the fantastic Lauren and Tom at Woodhall Spa Manor. The longer I do this great job the more and more I want to live in the countryside! Like most of the couples that work with me Lauren and Tom are relaxed and laid back and were looking for natural photos for their wedding. Being a long, very very long drive from where I live ...
