Beverley and Chris / Preview

Kent Wedding Galleries Press

I sometimes get asked about posing people, how I go about it, what poses do I like. The truth is, sometimes you just get lucky. I had asked Beverley and Chris to turn around and look out across the sea. I was pleased with the photo and was about to move on to the next shot, but at that moment Beverley just laid her head on Chris’ shoulder. I didn’t ask her to do it or pose them, it wasn’t something I had planned, it was a real moment between two people, a husband and wife, and for me the photo just came alive. More from their beautiful wedding will be coming soon, you can also check out Whimsical Wonderlands Weddings who have produced a cool feature on the day.

Kelly and Nathan / Wedding Photography at the East Anglian Railway Museum
There are certain couples that fit together, that are just right for each other. You see them with one another, you watch how they are with each other and you just think to yourself, yep, these two should be together. That's how it is when you are around Kelly and Nathan. I have been friends with Nathan since we were kids and when he first introduced us all to Kelly I think we all knew he had met the right girl for him. Kelly, also known as Shooting Suzie , is a great photographer herself. She was the person who first gave me the chance to do this fantastic job when she let me shoot a few weddings with her what seems like a lifetime ago. S ...

Woodhall Spa Manor Wedding Photography / Lauren and Tom
"We are utterly thrilled with our gorgeous pictures. You've captured the day perfectly and I can't believe how much I missed?! You've photographed things I don't even remember! We are so pleased, honestly. Thank you so very much." The gorgeous village of Woodhall Spa in Lincolnshire was the location for the wedding of the fantastic Lauren and Tom at Woodhall Spa Manor. The longer I do this great job the more and more I want to live in the countryside! Like most of the couples that work with me Lauren and Tom are relaxed and laid back and were looking for natural photos for their wedding. Being a long, very very long drive from where I live ...

Squerryes Court Wedding | Natasha and Nick
Natasha and Nick's wedding was held in the lovely gardens of Squerryes Court. I still have absolute no idea how you pronouce Squerryes Court, is it squirys, squarys? who knows, but its pretty spectacular none the less : ) The day started in the grand surroundings of the Astor Wing at Hever Castle where Natasha, her mum and friends had spent the night. I arrived to what can only be described as a quintessential English morning, grey and wet! Yeah the weather was looking decidedly dodgy but hey we can't control that so no need to worry! Some wedding mornings can be pretty hectic but this was nice and calm. As hair and make up was expertly provi ...
