Beverley and Chris / Preview

Kent Wedding Galleries Press

I sometimes get asked about posing people, how I go about it, what poses do I like. The truth is, sometimes you just get lucky. I had asked Beverley and Chris to turn around and look out across the sea. I was pleased with the photo and was about to move on to the next shot, but at that moment Beverley just laid her head on Chris’ shoulder. I didn’t ask her to do it or pose them, it wasn’t something I had planned, it was a real moment between two people, a husband and wife, and for me the photo just came alive. More from their beautiful wedding will be coming soon, you can also check out Whimsical Wonderlands Weddings who have produced a cool feature on the day.

The Gallivant Wedding / Chris and Gemma
I'm not sure there can be many better settings for a wedding day than Camber Sands on a glorious sunny day can there? The Gallivant Hotel in Rye has this really cool kind of beach shack vibe going on which I really liked and I have to say ,when the weather is on your side, this place is just a stunning choice for a wedding. Anyone who's grown up in Kent or Sussex has to have visited Camber Sands right?, I can remember vividly my mum and dad taking me and my brother there when we were kids, about 8 or 9 I think, and the two of us wandering off and getting lost in the sand dunes. We were actually found by a lifeguard playing in the sand as m ...

The Bell Inn in Ticehurst Wedding Photography / Tors and James Wedding Preview
So this happened, and yes it was epic! If I was some kind of mad Frankenstein like scientist and was somehow able to create my perfect couple in my secret lab, well Tors and James (a.k.a Jambon) would be that couple. The full magnificence of their wedding at The Bell Inn in Ticehurst will be up on the blog real soon but until then here's a taste of what was just a great day.
