Beverley and Chris / Preview

Kent Wedding Galleries Press

I sometimes get asked about posing people, how I go about it, what poses do I like. The truth is, sometimes you just get lucky. I had asked Beverley and Chris to turn around and look out across the sea. I was pleased with the photo and was about to move on to the next shot, but at that moment Beverley just laid her head on Chris’ shoulder. I didn’t ask her to do it or pose them, it wasn’t something I had planned, it was a real moment between two people, a husband and wife, and for me the photo just came alive. More from their beautiful wedding will be coming soon, you can also check out Whimsical Wonderlands Weddings who have produced a cool feature on the day.

Casa Bianca Wedding Photography in Tuscany / Megan and Ian’s Wedding
Ever since I was lucky enough to be a guest at a wedding in Florence a few years ago I've been desperate to photograph a wedding in Tuscany. So, when our good friends Ian and Megan asked me to photograph their wedding at the incredible Casa Bianca I absolutely jumped at the chance! Wow, Tuscany, there's just something about this part of the world, something in the light that just makes it a dream for a wedding photographer and whilst it wouldn't be a British wedding without a thunderstorm or two the Italian weather held out for a beautiful outdoor ceremony in the grounds of the villa. Huge congratulations to Megan and Ian, it was an honour to ...

The George Hotel in Rye Wedding Photography / Clint and Rebecca
"You have done an absolutely seriously amazing job! Bloody heck Eddie! We chose wisely having you Paul!" I'm not sure why Rebecca called me Eddie but you know what, I kind of like it! : ) It feels a bit weird photographing your friends wedding day. You have your work world and your home world don't you, and then they're kind of merging and all of a sudden you're a bit unsure of where you are or how to behave! But this was just great fun. The George Hotel in Rye was the venue for their wedding and somehow by, the grace of some higher presence, we were blessed with a barmy, beautifully warm sunny day slap bang in the middle of February. Rye is ...
